(Baonghean.vn) - In 2013, the Youth Union of the 283rd Air Defense Brigade carried out many vibrant and diverse activities, reflecting the unique characteristics of youth, contributing to strongly encouraging and motivating officers and youth union members in successfully fulfilling the unit's political tasks.

Many youth projects and tasks, undertaken and implemented effectively and with high quality by youth union organizations and members, include: the "Creative Youth" Club, which promotes creativity in innovating training equipment models, resulting in 4 out of 8 initiatives winning the Nguyen Viet Xuan Award at the Military Region level; the "Monthly Youth Technical Day" movement in the preservation and maintenance of weapons and training equipment; and the "One Law Per Week" movement, which attracted a large number of union members. Based on these results, in 2013, the Youth Union of the 283rd Air Defense Brigade was awarded the flag of excellence for outstanding performance by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army.
