And to clarify that, the Government has asked two units, the Hanoi People's Committee and the Ministry of National Defense, to report on the situation.

The expanded Truong Chinh Street is about 2.2km long, running from Vuong Thua Vu Street to Vong Intersection. Most of the Truong Chinh Street is expanded to the North, however, the approximately 800m long section in the middle of the road, passing through the Air Defense - Air Force, deviates to the South, which has raised various doubts.

Responding to the press, Mr. Pham Quang Nghi - Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee affirmed that the recent adjustment of the planning of Truong Chinh Street did not have any negative signs. Based on the opinions of the relevant parties, Hanoi City decided to direct Truong Chinh Street in this direction.

“If we can reduce unnecessary damage to people, as well as unnecessary costs for the project that do not significantly affect the quality of the project, then we should listen and make adjustments,” said Mr. Nghi.
