1,341 11th grade students achieved the title of excellent students at the provincial level

(Baonghean) -The Department of Education and Training has just announced the results of the provincial exam for excellent students for grade 11 students in the 2014-2015 school year. Starting from this school year, this exam will be held annually, replacing the provincial exam for excellent students for grade 12 students.

There were 2,279 students participating in the exam, of which 2,008 students took part in group A and 271 students took part in group B. As a result, in group A, 45 students won first prize, 295 students won second prize, 420 students won third prize and 449 students won encouragement prizes; in group B, 13 students won first prize, 16 students won second prize, 27 students won third prize and 76 students won encouragement prizes; among them, 1 student scored 19.9/20 points (Nguyen Phuong Trang, student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, took the Russian exam, group A) and 1 student scored a perfect score of 20/20 points (Ho Xuan An, student of Quy Chau High School, took the Math exam, group B).

In terms of teams, Huynh Thuc Khang High School ranked first in Group A; Quy Chau High School ranked first in Group B.
