(Baonghean.vn) - At 5:45 p.m. on May 12, in Quynh Luu district, there was a strong wind accompanied by heavy rain, causing many areas of spring rice in the ripening stage in the rural and coastal areas to fall.

Many rice fields in Quynh Thach commune were collapsed.

Currently, there are no specific statistics, however, according to our observations, in localities with large rice areas such as Quynh Thach, Quynh Hau, Quynh Doi, Quynh Dien... many rice areas have been completely flooded. According to the forecast of the agricultural sector, just a small rain can cause this flooded rice area to sprout, greatly affecting the productivity and output of the spring rice crop./.
