Sa Pa Culture - Tourism Week 2014 will feature many exciting activities such as: Performances of folk songs and dances; unique folk games of Sa Pa ethnic minorities; “A day as a farmer in the highlands” tour (Ta Phin); Mong village cultural festival in Cat Cat village (San Sa Ho); Red Dao people’s Cap Sac ceremony; display of flowers, precious ornamental plants and local cultural products at Sa Pa town’s central park…

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hao, Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Sa Pa district, cultural activities, arts, folk games, tours, etc. at Sa Pa Culture - Tourism Week this year are more diverse and attractive than previous years; at the same time, there are many innovations, but still retain the traditional identity of the ethnic minorities in the Sa Pa highlands.
This year's Sa Pa Culture - Tourism Week takes place right on the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, so the number of domestic tourists to Sa Pa is expected to increase sharply. The People's Committee of Sa Pa district has directed units to prepare well the conditions for accommodation facilities; prices of motels and hotels are publicly posted on the district's electronic information portal; strengthen propaganda and promotion of the contents of the Culture - Tourism Week on mass media, in order to attract more tourists to Sa Pa./.
