The door to the Champions League semi-finals is wide open for Real Madrid after their 3-0 victory this morning. Determined to avenge their defeat to Dortmund in last season's Champions League semi-finals, Real Madrid launched relentless attacks from the start of the match.

Just three minutes into the match, the home team's dominance at the Bernabeu was solidified with a goal from Gareth Bale following a well-placed pass from Carvajal.

Bale's early goal made the game even more one-sided. Real Madrid cornered Dortmund and launched a barrage of attacks against their weak defenses. After several missed opportunities, the lead was doubled midway through the first half by a shot from Isco.

After the break, the situation on the pitch remained unchanged. Cristiano Ronaldo scored Real's third goal with a delicate finish inside the penalty area. This was CR7's 14th goal in the Champions League this season, equaling Lionel Messi's record from the 2011/12 season.

In the final minutes of the match, both Real and Dortmund had chances, but neither side converted them into goals. Ultimately, Real defeated Dortmund 3-0 and have virtually secured their place in the Champions League semi-finals.
