Launching the Summer Moments 2014 photo contest.

Following the success of the online photo contests on the website www.travel.com.vn, from May 30th to September 5th, 2014, Vietravel is launching another online photo contest, "Summer Moments 2014".

The contest aims to create a meaningful platform, connecting with the community and all tourists who love photography to share the most beautiful and impressive moments from their exploration journeys and win a travel tour.

All Vietnamese citizens, both professional and amateur photographers, are eligible to submit entries. Entries must be original digital photographs, including color or black and white images, taken by the participant themselves, with an original file size of approximately 3MB (minimum size is 1MB and no larger than 5MB). Each participant may submit a minimum of one and a maximum of ten photos per entry, with no limit on the number of photos or photo sets submitted per participant.

The photos must have been taken within one year of the contest launch and must not have been entered into or won any other official competition. Contestants must write a summary of their feelings or the meaning behind their submitted photo or series of photos. The maximum word count is 300 words, and the minimum is 50 words.

Entries for the "Summer Moments 2014" contest will only be accepted via the website http://khoanhkhacmuahe.travel.com.vn. No other registration methods will be accepted.

The deadline is September 5, 2014. Judging will take place on September 10, 2014, and the results are expected to be announced on September 20, 2014. The winning photos will be used by the Organizing Committee for promotional and publicity purposes related to the contest and other activities aimed at promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism.

Prize structure for the competition:

For the award in the Professional Photography category.

01 First Prize: Hong Kong – Macau Tour (5 days) for 01 person;

01 second prize: Each prize consists of a 4-day tour to Singapore for one person;

01 third prize: Each prize consists of a 5-day tour to Thailand for one person;

3 consolation prizes: Each prize is a 4-day Nha Trang tour with 4-star hotel accommodation for one person.

For the category of amateur photography.

01 First Prize: A 5-day tour of Thailand for one person;

01 second prize: Each prize consists of a 4-day tour to Cambodia for one person;

01 third prize: Each prize consists of a Nha Trang tour - 2-star hotel (5 days) for 01 person;

3 consolation prizes: Each prize is a 2-day tour to Phan Thiet for one person.

Consolation prizes (applicable to both categories).

01 Reader's Choice Award for the most accurate entry: 01 Nha Trang tour - 2-star hotel (4 days) for 01 person.

01 Prize for the work most voted for by readers: 01 Nha Trang tour - 2-star hotel (4 days) for 01 person.
