Vietnam National Team won the VTV Cup 2014 International Women's Volleyball Tournament
Excellently defeating their opponent Thailand with a score of 3-1 in the final match on the afternoon of May 24, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was crowned champion of the VTV Cup 2014 International Women's Volleyball Tournament.

Bac Ninh Provincial Stadium was full, the stands were packed with spectators, many people even had no seats but still stood and cheered until their voices were hoarse to cheer for the Vietnam National Team.
The final match was extremely tense, dramatic and breathtaking until the last seconds. The two teams chased each point through 4 sets and with high determination and enthusiastic cheers from the audience at the Bac Ninh Provincial Sports Stadium, our golden girls defeated their opponents with a score of 3-1 (25-23, 29-27, 27-25, 27-25) and were deservedly crowned.
After the final match, the award ceremony and closing ceremony took place. The Organizing Committee awarded 10,000 USD to the champion team (Vietnam), the runner-up was Thailand, and the DPRK came in third. Striker Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa (Vietnam) won the award for best athlete. The title of Miss of the tournament belonged to athlete Le Thanh Thuy (Vietnam).
Over the past 10 years, the VTV Cup International Women's Volleyball Tournament has become a familiar brand to fans. It can be said that the 11th VTV Cup has been a great success in all aspects from organization, professional work, and the number of spectators coming to the stadium to cheer for the 6 participating teams (host Vietnam, Australia, Kazakhstan, DPRK, Thailand and Yunnan (China).
