Contest to learn about the life, career and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 8, Vinh University organized a contest to learn about the life, career and ideology of President Ho Chi Minh. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 124th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2014) and 45 years of implementing his Testament.
Participating in the competition were teams from the following faculties: Biology, Economics, Literature Pedagogy, History, Geography - Resource Management, Political Education, Law, National Defense Education. The 8 teams were divided into 2 groups by drawing lots and competing in the group stage. The teams had to go through 4 rounds: Multiple choice questions on knowledge and understanding, looking at pictures to guess events, and storytelling. The content of the rounds were all related to the life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho and related to studying and following his moral and ideological example among union members, youth, and students today.

Through the contest, Vinh University hopes to strengthen the education of youth union members and students to better understand the revolutionary career and the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the cause of national liberation and construction; better understand his thoughts in all fields, as well as effectively apply those thoughts to the study, training and striving of each student.

On the opening night, 4 teams from Group A from the faculties of National Defense Education, Law, Political Education and History participated in the group stage. After the qualifying round, the Organizing Committee will select the 2 teams with the highest scores in each group to compete in the final round to determine the prizes: First, Second, Third on May 17, 2014./.
