Suspend Ninh Binh player from playing "in the red"

The Vietnam Football Federation's Disciplinary Board has decided to suspend all professional football-related activities of players involved in match-fixing and betting at Vissai Ninh Binh Club.

Currently, this case is still being investigated with many new details, not even excluding the possibility that the number of players participating in betting is more than 9 people and is not limited to the match between Kelantan - V.Ninh Binh. The team of the ancient capital has withdrawn from the V-League and on April 16, VPF will organize a draw to reschedule the match for the second leg.

Currently, the Vietnam Football Federation is actively coordinating with relevant agencies to be provided with information related to the above incident. Therefore, to facilitate the investigation and handling by competent state agencies of negative manifestations of some players, the VFF Disciplinary Board requests that Ninh Binh Club not register the players who have been summoned by the investigating agency to compete in the next round of the AFC Cup and temporarily suspend their participation in football activities organized by the VFF until the conclusion of the competent state agency regarding these players.
