Recently, Swiss company Tag Heuer launched the world's first phone that does not need charging, called Meridiist Infinite. Thanks to its ability to self-charge from surrounding light sources, Meridiist Infinite can operate forever without needing a charger.

The price of this phone that does not need charging will certainly not be cheap.

To achieve this extraordinary feature, the Swiss manufacturer placed a transparent photovoltaic panel between the screen and the Sapphire glass to collect energy from light. Tag Heuer confidently declared that the capacity of this battery can make their special phone work forever in standby mode.

The optical battery membrane on the Meridiist Infinite phone uses Wysips Sunpartner Technologies and is made up of two layers, including an outer hemispherical layer to concentrate light and a photovoltaic cell layer underneath that converts light energy into electrical energy.

Thanks to that, the Meridiist Infinite can recharge itself anywhere there is light. Tag Heuer calls it "Perpetual Power Reserve".

Not only is the Meridiist Infinite integrated with the above special capabilities, it is also carefully designed with super hard Titanium Grade 5 material combined with Carbon to reduce weight. To increase the uniqueness, Tag Heuer also numbers the Meridiist Infinite from 1 to 1,911, implying that only 1,911 Meridiist Infinites are produced in the world.

Currently, the selling price of Meridiist Infinite has not been announced but it will certainly be a very unpleasant price.
