Military Command 4: Giving gifts to war invalids and war invalid care centers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 67th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the morning of July 24, a working delegation of the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers being treated at Military Hospital 4; Nursing Area for Wounded Soldiers 4 and Nursing Area for Mentally Ill Soldiers in Nghe An province.

In all the places visited by the delegation, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region and other comrades in the delegation kindly inquired about and shared the losses and pains of the wounded and sick soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of fighting and protecting the Fatherland.

Giving gifts to Military Hospital 4.

Working with the Board of Directors of Military Hospital 4, Major General Tran Tien Dung praised the spirit and responsibility of the hospital's staff, doctors, nurses, and employees in the treatment and care of wounded soldiers and patients in the past time. The Deputy Political Commissar noted that in the coming time, the hospital's staff, doctors, nurses, and employees need to uphold their sense of responsibility and use all their abilities to help ease the pain of wounded soldiers and patients. Major General Tran Tien Dung presented gifts from the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region Command to wounded soldiers being treated at Military Hospital 4; the Nghe An Province Wounded Soldiers' Nursing Area and the Nghe An Province Mental Health Wounded Soldiers' Nursing Area.

On this occasion, the Military Region Command authorized a number of units to visit and present gifts from the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region to groups tasked with nurturing and caring for the health of wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries in the stationed areas.

On the same day, the Political Department of Military Region 4 visited and presented gifts to policy families in Truong Thi ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province.

Colonel Doan Ngoc Son - Deputy Commander of the Military Region gave gifts and encouraged the family of Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong, 3/4 disabled soldier in block 17, Truong Thi ward.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Nguyen Trong Thong, a 3/4 war invalid with a serious illness in block 17, Truong Thi ward and the family of Mr. Le Dang Hao, a victim of Agent Orange during the war against the US, saving the country, whose child is disabled due to the consequences of Agent Orange dioxin, his wife is on dialysis, currently living in block 5, Truong Thi ward, Vinh city.

On this occasion, the Political Department of Military Region 4 also organized a meeting and presented gifts of encouragement to 26 officers who are war invalids and relatives of martyrs currently working at agencies and units under the Political Department.
