The Ministry requires localities to guide children's education to preserve national cultural identity, participate in cultural activities and traditional games, and encourage the creation of their own games and toys. In particular, the Ministry encourages provinces and cities to guide children to use domestically produced toys and not to use imported toys of poor quality, toxic, or dangerous.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs also requested localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of food hygiene and safety, especially food businesses serving the Mid-Autumn Festival.
