Notes on your land
1
At the end of the Mekong River, clouds and smoke are murmuring,
This is Thailand, that's Laos.
A howl was heard across both countries,
The surface of the waves is red... Who knows how deep the water is?
2
Twice a day the wrist is tied with a bandage,
Many blessings make him confused.
Not contributed anything to Laos' eternal youth,
Then please do the little hand.
3
Birds are locked in pairs in small cages,
The children held banners right on the Golden Buddha land.
A bit of innocence makes my heart flutter:
Peace and food and clothing forever wandering...
4
U Don, happy to see the bamboo and areca shape,
Thatched roof exposed to rain and sun.
Yeah, languages are different everywhere,
Uncle Ho's soul is the same everywhere?
5
The mist has opened the cozy roofs,
Vientiane street crowed loudly.
Go to the end of the day without a car horn,
The Land of a Million Elephants is just that, shocking enough!
