Spreading the model "5 no, 3 clean"
(Baonghean) - The movement to build the model of "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" is increasingly spreading, creating attraction in Tan Ky district. From being a campaign, up to now, clubs have been formed and are increasingly affirming their important role and position in building family happiness, contributing to the implementation of the new rural construction program.
Every Sunday morning, without being told, women in Nghia Dong commune (Tan Ky) temporarily put aside their family work to participate in sweeping and cleaning the wide concrete roads that have just been completed under the new rural construction program. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoi, hamlet 8, Nghia Dong commune said: Since the policy of building the model "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" was issued, all women have enthusiastically participated. Each person contributes a part of their efforts to make the village roads and alleys clean and spacious. In addition, the yard of each family is neatly arranged by the women, the garbage is cleaned, classified and thrown into the trash pit. Hamlet 8, Nghia Dong commune is the unit chosen by the commune and district to build a model of the "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" Club. The club was established in May 2013, with 50 members. From hamlet 8, the model of the “Family of 5 no, 3 clean” club has been widely replicated, creating a great influence in the lives of people in Nghia Dong commune. Up to now, 15/15 hamlets in Nghia Dong commune have established clubs with more than 60% of the total households having members participating. Every 3 months, these clubs organize activities once, with rich content, suitable for the characteristics of each hamlet.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dao - President of the Women's Union of Nghia Dong commune said: Through the activities of the clubs, the rural face of Nghia Dong commune has changed significantly. Village roads and alleys are clean, family life is always warm, children are raised healthy, and children are taught to be good. Women work enthusiastically to increase family income, contributing to changing the face of Nghia Dong countryside.
Similarly, in Tan Phu commune, the "Family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" club is showing its role and significance in practice. Currently, the whole commune has established 12 clubs/12 hamlets with more than 500 members. In the atmosphere of the whole people building new rural areas, the Women's Union of the commune has established a project to collect and classify waste at the source. On the 15th and 30th of every month, people in the commune collect and classify waste. Organic waste is used to make fertilizer, while inorganic waste is collected and transported to garbage collection points for treatment. In addition, after determining the criteria in the "Family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" model, the Women's Union of the commune has integrated it with other programs such as the "Raising healthy children, teaching good children" club; "No third child" club... Thanks to that, women's awareness is increasingly raised; The number of students and young people in the commune violating the law has decreased significantly; the lives of households have become more orderly, and the family economy has increasingly developed. Ms. Chu Thi Thanh Quy - President of the Women's Union of Tan Phu commune said: The criteria in the model "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" are closely linked to the activities of family life. Therefore, the Women's Union of the commune focuses on propagating and mobilizing women to participate in activities with many practical activities. Especially, families with members in difficult circumstances have been helped, strengthening the solidarity of the village, creating a warm rural appearance.
It must be affirmed that the campaign to build the model of "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" launched by the Central Women's Union since 2009 has had a wide impact on all aspects of social life. The model of "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" fully meets 8 criteria: no poverty, no violation of the law and social evils, no domestic violence, no third or more children, no malnourished children, no school dropouts, and clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley. The Women's Union of Tan Ky district has directed the construction of pilot models in communes, including: Nghia Dong, Tan Phu, Ky Son to gain experience and then deploy in the whole district. Based on actual conditions, communes in Tan Ky district have had creative ways to mobilize women to participate and create real efficiency. For example, in Nghia Dong commune, to mobilize capital to help women in difficult circumstances, the women's association mobilized businesses to support funding and directly advised local authorities to support operating costs... Nghia Binh commune mobilized members to contribute funds to help members in difficult circumstances to meet the criteria.
On the other hand, women's associations at all levels have coordinated with local vocational training institutions to open short-term vocational training courses for rural female workers, and increase the organization of mobile vocational training for women. Thereby, many female members have found jobs and increased their family income. Each month, club members contribute an average of 10,000 VND to create a low-interest loan source to help poor members develop their economy. In Tan Phu commune, the total contributed capital is more than 40 million VND and has lent 10 members to raise livestock and grow crops. In Nghia Dong commune, in the past 2 years, the contributed capital has been more than 33 million VND and has lent 26 members to develop their economy. For example, in the case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nham in hamlet 8, from a loan of more than 3 million VND, she bought piglets to raise. Ms. Nham said: After her mother-in-law and herself went to Hanoi for medical treatment, which cost a lot of money, the family fell into difficulty and exhaustion. But thanks to the capital from the "5 no, 3 clean family" club, the family bought 4 breeding pigs to raise. Currently, the pigs are growing well and promise to bring in a good income.
In fact, the criteria in the campaign to build "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" are very close and closely associated with the lives of members, so they have created a widespread influence in all 22 communes and towns of Tan Ky district. Up to now, the whole district has more than 14,000 households meeting all 8 criteria, accounting for 51.37%. From those initial results, Ms. Le Thi Mai Ha - Vice President of the Women's Union of Tan Ky district emphasized: In the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels will continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work, bringing the campaign to build "Family of 5 no, 3 clean" deeper and deeper; continue to establish more clubs to help members access legal knowledge, build happy families, raise good children... Each happy family contributes to building an increasingly beautiful new rural face.
