(Baonghean.vn) - On October 17 and 18, Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with the provincial Department of Aquatic Resources Protection to patrol, detect, and handle 3 vehicle owners who violated regulations while exploiting aquatic resources at sea.

Specifically: Vehicle number TH 90241 TS owned by Pham Van Do, born in 1973, residing in Hai Loc commune, Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province, with 3 crew members used electric shock to catch seafood; Vehicle NA 2237 TS owned by Nguyen Van Nam, born in 1982, residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, with 2 crew members; and Vehicle NA 2209 TS owned by Tran Hong Van, born in 1974, residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, with 2 crew members, violated illegal fishing activities.

Pursuant to Decree 103/ND-CP of the Government, Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station has decided to administratively fine the vehicle owners a total of 17,500,000 VND to the state budget and confiscate the violating exhibits (electric shockers, batteries, etc.).
