Federer tries to recover for Davis Cup
Roger Federer tried his best to beat Stan Wawrinka in the ATP World Tour Finals semi-finals, which resulted in injury. Now Federer has to try to recover to play with Stan Wawrinka in the Davis Cup.

In Lille, the host city of the 2014 Davis Cup final, Switzerland's No. 1 Roger Federer took to the court for the first time to practice in preparation for the final against host France.
It is not yet known whether Federer will be fully fit to play and will face Gael Monfils in the second match. Federer suffered a back injury in the semi-final of the ATP World Tour Finals against compatriot Wawrinka and was forced to withdraw before the final against Novak Djokovic. It was also the first time in his professional tennis career that Federer had retired before the match took place.
Fans are eager to see France, the most successful team in the Davis Cup, compete. More than 27,600 tickets have been sold for the next three days of competition.
According to the draw results, the opening match of the Davis Cup will be between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Stan Wawrinka. After the doubles event, the final day will be a battle between the No. 1 and No. 2 players of each team to decide the champion.
