Artist 'Hello 2015' with famous movie soundtrack

Thanh Lam, Hong Nhung, Ha Tran, My Tam, Ho Ngoc Ha... reunite in a music program to welcome the new year.

This year, Vietnam Television's New Year's Eve program has the theme "Music in Film". Sharing the idea of ​​the program, director Do Thanh Hai said: "The music night will take the audience to lands around the world, where legendary cinematic works are imprinted with more than 40 domestic and foreign songs. Cultural, historical, and love stories associated with famous films are expressed through music".

Singer Hong Nhung will sing Thien Thai and share her memories of recording the song for the film The Quiet American. The diva will also perform the beloved song from the famous film Les Miserables, which requires skillful vocal technique.

Returning from the US, Ha Tran performed Lullaby for Children, marking her voice in the film Cua De Danh. Thanh Lam performed the song Hoa Sua in the film Ha Noi Mua Chim Lam Nest. The two divas will duet on the song Goi Anh by musician Duong Thu. Singers Phuong Thanh and Ho Quynh Huong will take turns performing two film soundtracks that are closely associated with their names: Anh (musician Xuan Phuong) and Gia Tu Di Quang (musician Nguyen Duc Trung).

Ho Ngoc Ha performed the two songs All That Jazz and Funny Honey from the Oscar-winning film Chicago. The singer's performance evoked the golden age of jazz in America through the music and the blindness to the temptation of fame that the film conveyed through its staging. Ha Ho transformed into an American actress in the early 20th century.

A series of other names in the music industry also participated in the program such as: Ho Ngoc Ha, My Tam, Phuong Linh, Uyen Linh, Phuong Vy, Tung Duong, Ha Anh Tuan, Quoc Thien, Duc Tuan, Pham Thu Ha, Doan Trang, Thao Trang...

Director Pham Hoang Nam revealed that the "Hello 2015" stage is like a miniature film studio. The layered LED screen system creates depth for the stage, while the visual art technique helps each song have its own separate artistic space. To complete the 3-hour broadcast, more than 100 technicians, singers, musicians, and dancers had to work for three consecutive days.

Thuy Hanh will take on the role of MC for the program. Meanwhile, editor Long Vu will be the guide, taking the audience through the locations that are the backdrops of famous movies such as: Barcelona, ​​Rome, Paris, Athens, Cannes, Monaco...

The program "Hello 2015 - New Year Concert", with the theme of Music in Films, will air at 8:00 p.m. on January 1, 2015 on VTV1 channel.
