Exhibition of Vietnam Heritage Beauty 2014
On December 1 and 2, in Da Nang City and Hoi An (Quang Nam), 100 excellent photos selected from the 2014 Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest were displayed at the University of Technology (Da Nang) and the Silk Village (Hoi An).

These 100 outstanding works were taken in many different regions, depicting traditional craft villages, religious architecture, the beauty of daily life, portraits and landscapes of Vietnam.
The Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest was launched in July 2014, aiming to call for public attention in discovering the beauty and values of Vietnam's natural and cultural heritage that need to be preserved and protected.
After more than 2 months of launching, the contest received 4,402 entries, including 2,795 single photos and 254 photo sets about natural heritage, tangible cultural heritage (architecture, sculpture, handicrafts, etc.), intangible cultural heritage (music, dance, festivals, folk games, beliefs, religions, etc.) and life.
This year, the number of authors participating in the contest has doubled compared to the first time it was held; the youngest author is only 10 years old, the oldest is 83 years old. Localities with many authors participating in the contest are Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, Binh Thuan...
Not only in Da Nang and Hoi An, the exhibition will be displayed in 10 other provinces and cities across the country to partly foster love for the country, homeland, and life for the people, students, and international tourists to understand more about the heritage and beauty of the country and people of Vietnam.
