30g hawthorn (60g raw), 100g glutinous rice, enough rock sugar. Wash the hawthorn and put it in a clay pot to cook, boil to get the juice. Wash the glutinous rice, add enough water, after boiling, turn down the heat, simmer the sweet soup until soft, then add the hawthorn juice, rock sugar, cook for another 5 minutes to complete.

Note: Oriental medicine believes that hawthorn only “digests” but does not “nourish”, so people with high gastric juice secretion should use it with caution; people with gastrointestinal ulcers should not use it. In addition, while taking tonics, avoid using hawthorn.
