If you experience any of the following symptoms, such as yellowing of the skin, fatigue, or a persistent bitter taste in the mouth, you should have your liver function checked by a doctor!

1. Skin turns yellow, pale, and develops acne.

This is the most easily recognizable sign that your liver is "crying out" due to some abnormality. This can be explained as follows: the liver has a very important function of eliminating toxins from the body. When this task is not completed, toxins accumulate under the skin, causing changes in skin pigmentation, specifically abnormal jaundice and acne.

2. Chronic fatigue

Drinking alcohol seriously affects the liver. This habit also depletes vitamin B12, which is crucial for this organ, and can easily lead to chronic fatigue, loss of appetite, and panic attacks.

3. Abnormal stool and urine

Other easily recognizable signs that your liver is having problems are related to your urine and stool. Your urine will often be darker than normal, while your stool may contain small spots of blood. Try to drink plenty of water every day to improve this situation; otherwise, you should see a doctor for a check-up!

4. Bitter taste in the mouth, bad breath

If you experience a bitter taste in your mouth, frequent headaches, and dizziness, it's very likely that your liver is inflamed. On the other hand, when the liver is no longer able to detoxify, some toxins will be excreted through the lungs and cause bad breath.
