Braised oxtail with goji berries
Uses: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, treats impotence, premature ejaculation, irregular menstruation in women, and frigidity.

A wonderful medicinal menu featuring oxtail.
Preparation method: Ingredients include 200-300g of oxtail, 50g of goji berries, a little wine, sliced ginger, chopped scallions, and salt to taste. Boil 25g of goji berries to extract the juice, and wash the remaining 25g before adding them to the oxtail stew.
Clean and chop the oxtail into sections. Place it in a pot with the remaining 25g of goji berries. Add 1.5 liters of water, wine, ginger slices, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then add 25ml of goji berry decoction. Simmer over low heat until the oxtail is tender. Serve with chopped scallions.
Braised oxtail with ginkgo and taro
Uses: Ginkgo biloba has a calming effect and helps improve sleep when stewed with oxtail and taro.
Instructions: Take 500g of oxtail, wash it thoroughly, put it in a pot with cold water, and simmer until the oxtail is tender. To save time, you can use a pressure cooker.
Take 150g of ginkgo nuts, remove the hard outer shell, soak them in a bowl of cold water for about 2 hours to remove some of the bitterness, then rinse them thoroughly.
Take 2-3 taro roots, peel them, wash them thoroughly, and soak them in a bowl of salt water to remove some of the slime.
After the oxtail has been simmered until tender, add the ginkgo nuts and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the taro to the stew pot, and season to taste.
Simmer until the taro is tender, adjust seasoning to taste, turn off the heat, add chopped scallions and cilantro, ladle into a large bowl, sprinkle with a little pepper, and serve as a soup with rice.
Braised oxtail with lemongrass
This dish is nutritious; if you carefully skim off the foam and fat while simmering, it will be almost fat-free.
Instructions: Cut the oxtail into small pieces and simmer in a pot for 2 hours with crushed lemongrass. Add about 1.5 liters of water to speed up the simmering process. Once the oxtail is tender, season to taste and add chopped scallions. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and sauté them with a little oil until they are colorful. Add all the ingredients to the oxtail pot for a delicious and nutritious dish that isn't greasy.
