New beginning...

(Baonghean) - With the title of "Top scorer" and "Best player" in the 2014 National U.21 final round, Phuc Tinh is the most promising young player of Nghe An football in the past year. Promoted to the first team, Phuc Tinh recently scored a valuable goal to help SLNA regain 1 point in the away match in Tan An. That was like a mark for a new beginning for this player's "shorts and shirt" career...

After the first match where he was “frozen” and could not show his ability, recently, Phuc Tinh scored a goal to help SLNA tie 1-1, in the match against DT.LA in Tan An. As the first domestic player to score for SLNA in V.League this year, once again, the name Phuc Tinh attracted special attention from many people.

Phuc Tinh is from Quynh Luu district. After his success in the provincial Youth and Children's football tournament, he was called to join the Song Lam "furnace". According to the teachers at the Song Lam "furnace", Tinh's strengths are his ability to seize opportunities and finish with his head very well. During his training at the Song Lam "furnace", Phuc Tinh always showed his "killer" ability and was always at the top in terms of professional index in exams and tests.

Because of his talent, success came early to Tinh. In 2012, Phuc Tinh participated in the National Phu Dong Sports Festival in Can Tho and won the title of "Best Player". At that tournament, Nghe An won the gold medal in men's football. At the same time, in the U.17 or U.19 SLNA jersey, Phuc Tinh performed very well in the National tournament. Last season, Phuc Tinh was loaned by SLNA to the Second Division team Thanh Nien Sai Gon to gain experience.

Playing impressively and especially scoring the only goal in the final match against U.21 HN.T&T, Phuc Tinh made a great contribution, helping U.21 SLNA convincingly win the championship for the 5th time. In this tournament, Tinh won the double title: "Best Player" and "Top Scorer". Unfortunately, later, due to injury, Tinh could not join U.21 Vietnam to conquer the goal at the international U.21 tournament also held in Can Tho.

Returning to Nghe An and practicing rehabilitation for a short time, Phuc Tinh recovered from his injury and joined SLNA to prepare for V.League 2015. Initially, due to his young age and the fact that the attack line had many players, especially the fixed position of a foreign player, the leaders of the Nghe An team planned to let Tinh play for another team, hoping to have more opportunities to play.

However, after nearly 3 months of preparation, SLNA's coaching board realized that Phuc Tinh, despite his young age, played football very maturely. In many practice matches, Phuc Tinh was often the one to score goals, making the difference. Because of his professional achievements, SLNA's leadership decided to let Phuc Tinh stay and register him for the 2015 season.

Trusting Phuc Tinh’s ability, in the match against Hai Phong, coach Ngo Quang Truong placed him in the starting line of the Nghe An team. Playing for the first time in the number 1 arena in Vietnam, Tinh was a bit stiff and disappointed. However, the second time being given the opportunity, this player born in 1994 from Quynh Luu district knew how to take advantage to show his class.

In the match in Tan An, SLNA played deadlocked and everyone thought that the away team would lose. But at that difficult moment, Phuc Tinh took advantage of the mistakes of goalkeeper Quoc Cuong and a defender of DT.LA to score the only goal, helping SLNA get a valuable point.

Only 19 years old and scoring after only 2 appearances in the V.League, it really couldn't be a better start for Phuc Tinh. The striker said: "The goal is the fulcrum of confidence, for me to start a new journey in my career". Congratulations to Phuc Tinh and hope that SLNA will have another talent, contributing not only to local football but also to the national teams.

This afternoon (January 21), at Vinh Stadium, SLNA will host B.Binh Duong in round 4 of V.League and the name Phuc Tinh is being awaited by many people.
