Reviewing capital allocation plan for new rural construction

(Baonghean) - On the afternoon of March 10, the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the plan to allocate government bond capital to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2015.

Mr. Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial Steering Committee on the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction reported and asked for opinions on the capital allocation plan for 2015, which was built on Decision No. 131/QD-TTg dated January 23, 2015 of the Prime Minister, Decision No. 89/QD-BKHDT dated January 27, 2015 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the assignment of the 2015 Government bond capital plan targets to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. Accordingly, the norms for communes to be supported, such as extremely disadvantaged communes, communes meeting new rural standards in 2014, 2015, 2016 and the remaining subjects, were clearly stipulated; in 2015, 285 communes were supported with Government bond capital for the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

Concluding this issue, comrade Vo Viet Thanh suggested that it is necessary to study how to arrange the budget and repay cement loans in the whole province, and allocate capital promptly to contribute to building the new rural area according to the set schedule.

The Economic - Budget Committee also reviewed the allocation of revenue from the transfer of the province's capital contribution at Nghe An Sugarcane Company Limited.
