Of which, 48.4% of enterprises plan to expand production and business, 47.9% of enterprises maintain the same scale and only more than 3% reduce business scale.

This result is higher than the 2013 survey when only 42.5% of enterprises planned to expand their scale, 50.7% maintained their scale, 6.7% may reduce their scale and 0.1% would have to temporarily suspend operations in 2014.

However, in reality, about 2.2% of enterprises in the 2014 survey said they had to temporarily suspend operations in 2014, and this rate in the first 6 months of 2014 was much higher, at 4.2%.

The general production and business situation of the business community has improved compared to 2013, mainly in total sales (+37 points), number of orders (+32 points) and labor productivity (+30 points).

The report also pointed out that businesses had to stop operating recently due to not being able to find output markets and high input material prices.

According to VCCI's report, businesses believe that the production and business situation in 2015 will be better than in 2014. The reason is that all components are expected to improve, including the profit factor.
