The venue is Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Hung Thang Ward (Ha Long City). According to the Organizing Committee, the general theme of Ha Long Carnival 2015 is “Gathering the elite - Spreading smiles”. The new feature of this year’s program is the combination of art performances “Where the elite converge” and street parades with the theme “Ha Long Smiles”. The street parade alone has the participation of 11 performance groups, 10 flower cars, models, and mobile stages impressively decorated according to the themes: “Coming to Ha Long Carnival”, “Flower Street”, “Returning to Ha Long”, “Sea Street”, “Black Pearls”…

In addition, a spectacular low-altitude fireworks display is also being prepared to entertain visitors. It is expected that about 2,700 extras will participate in the opening night performances. They will include students from Ha Long University, athletes, martial artists, children, health clubs, coal workers, students, Tay and Dao ethnic groups in Binh Lieu and Hoanh Bo districts...
