As a result, the tax collection results in the period of 2011 - 2015 reached more than 3,800 billion VND, mainly collecting VAT on imported goods and import tax. The Department has also taken many measures to recover tax arrears with the debt collected being more than 5.3 billion VND. Coordinated with sectors and functional forces to implement the work of combating smuggling and trade fraud. There were 394 cases detected, of which 238 cases were administratively sanctioned with the amount of more than 2.8 billion VND and the sale of confiscated goods was nearly 3 billion VND.

Pay attention to post-clearance audits to ensure correct and sufficient collection, and prevent tax losses in customs declarations. Continue to strengthen coordination among forces in the fight against smuggling and trade fraud. Organize the review of targets with assigned taxes according to the plan to continue directing to achieve higher results in 2015.
