Research results of Vietnam Report Company (conducted from July 2014 to June 2015) show that: Enterprises are increasingly interested in media management. The media reputation of enterprises has been, is and will always be an important part, a valuable intangible asset that has a great influence on the development of an organization, whether it is a for-profit economic organization or a non-profit organization. Vietnamese enterprises have somewhat realized the importance of proactively providing information to the public, which will also help enterprises manage their image better.

The research was conducted based on a quantitative analysis model of media content to evaluate the image and reputation of businesses based on the Agenda Setting theory on the influence and impact of media information on the position and image of businesses, officially announced by two professors Maxwell McCombs and Donald L. Shaw in 1968, and implemented and applied by Vietnam Report in collaboration with partners.

In today's business environment, people talk more about the concept of "sustainable development" of enterprises, which shows that growth in business performance and financial indicators alone is not enough, but some other indicators such as how enterprises manage customer relationships, fulfill social responsibilities, etc. are also information that investors always seek and care about. Therefore, the diversity of published information is a very important criterion.

Vinamilk is rated by Vietnam Report as the listed company with the most diverse information disclosure. Vietnam Report said: "For many years, Vinamilk has always been one of the bright spots of the Vietnamese economy, not only being successful in production and business activities but also actively carrying out social security work."

In 2014, Vinamilk's total revenue reached 34,977 billion VND, with an average growth rate in revenue in the last 10 years of about 22% per year, the total amount paid to the State budget in the last 10 years was 19,000 billion VND. Vinamilk's revenue plan was approved by the Shareholders' Meeting in 2015 to reach 38,424 billion VND. Vinamilk's equity and total assets also grew strongly and well, Vinamilk's charter capital is currently more than 10,000 billion VND. Vinamilk's current market capitalization is about more than 5 billion USD, ranking 2nd on the Vietnamese stock market.

Vinamilk is currently the largest dairy company in Vietnam and holds more than 50% of the market share with a diverse product portfolio that meets the needs of customers of all ages such as: liquid milk, drinking yogurt, eating yogurt, powdered milk and nutritional powder, condensed milk, ice cream, soft drinks... Currently, Vinamilk accounts for about 53% of the liquid milk market share, 84% of the yogurt market share and 80% of the condensed milk market share. Vinamilk also has a wide distribution system throughout Vietnam, Vinamilk products are currently available at more than 212,000 retail points, 100 of the company's own product showrooms, and 650 supermarkets nationwide.

Not only growing in the domestic market, Vinamilk is also constantly developing the export market. Currently, Vinamilk has exported products to more than 31 countries and territories around the world with an annual export turnover of about 200 million USD. The main export markets are the Middle East and Asia. Vinamilk is continuing to seek and expand markets to Europe, Africa, South America, etc. Export revenue accounts for 8% - 24% of Vinamilk's total consolidated revenue. The average export growth rate is 17%/year over the past 10 years. The main export products are powdered milk and condensed milk.

Regarding the development of raw material areas, currently, the total herd of cows including Vinamilk's farms and farmers who have signed contracts to sell milk to Vinamilk is more than 90,000 cows, providing about 650 tons of fresh raw cow's milk every day. Vinamilk currently has 7 operating farms and is building 2 new farms with a total herd of about 24,000 cows. All of Vinamilk's cows are high-yielding cows and are mostly imported from Australia and the US. The output and value of Vinamilk's purchase of fresh raw milk for domestic farmers have also continuously increased. The average annual growth rate in 8 years (from 2007 to 2014) was 8.4% in output and 21.8% in value. The total amount of Vinamilk subsidizing farmers in these 8 years was nearly 1,900 billion VND.
