8 minutes of yoga in bed for good sleep

Just 5 yoga moves below will help you get a good night's sleep!

Relaxed banana tree planting (2')

- Sit facing the wall (or the headboard), your buttocks about 15cm from the wall (or headboard).

- Lie on your back with your legs raised up against the wall.

- If you feel your hamstrings are too tight, move your butt away from the wall a little.

- Arms along the body, palms up, breathe gently, feel the tension in the back of the legs.

Turn to both sides (1')

- Sit cross-legged on the bed and exhale while placing your right hand on your left knee and your left hand on the bed behind your tailbone.

- Gently turn to the left.

- Follow the rotation with your eyes, looking over your left shoulder. Breathe deeply, then return to center and repeat on the other side.

Goddess of the Night (2')

- Lie on your back with your knees bent.

- Press the soles of your feet together, then open your knees to the sides, forming a diamond shape with your shins.

- Place your hands comfortably on the bed.

- If you feel pain, elevate your legs by placing a pillow under each knee.

Child's Pose (2')

- Sit comfortably on your heels.

- Bend forward until your forehead rests on the bed in front of you.

- Lower your chest as close to your knees as possible, arms reaching forward.

- Hold the position and breathe.

Seesaw pose (1')

- Lie on your back with your knees bent into your chest.

- Cross your ankles, wrap your arms around your shins with your hands clasped together.

- Inhale and lift yourself up to a sitting position; exhale as you lean back.

- Continue for a minute, then lean back, stretch your arms and legs, and fall asleep.
