Survey on the implementation of universal preschool education in Vinh city

(Baonghean.vn) – Continuing to carry out the survey plan on the implementation of the Project on universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children, period 2010 – 2015 in Vinh city, on the afternoon of September 8, the Culture – Society Committee, Provincial People's Council led by Ms. Ton Thi Cam Ha - Deputy Head of the Culture – Society Committee of Provincial People's Council conducted a survey at Hung Dung I Kindergarten and Hoa Mi Private Kindergarten.

Also participating in the delegation were representatives from the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training of Vinh city.

Ms. Ton Thi Cam Ha - Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the suggestions of the kindergartens.

At Hung Dung I Kindergarten, although facilities and equipment for children have been invested a lot in recent years, the need to send children to school of parents in the ward is still limited. The ratio of children to class according to regulations is still high, affecting the quality of child care. Not only is there a shortage of classes, the school also lacks teachers. According to regulations, the school is not allowed to have a contract, but to ensure the number of teachers and staff, the school is forced to have a contract with teachers. From the reality, the school recommends that all levels pay attention to expanding the school campus, at the same time promptly arranging teachers, moving towards ensuring the ratio of teachers according to the regulations of the kindergarten.

Care about facilities for 5-year-old children at Hung Dung I Kindergarten

At Hoa Mi Private Kindergarten, it was built and put into use in 2005. After 10 years of development, thanks to the mobilization of private capital and annual socialization activities, the school's facilities are now quite spacious, meeting the needs of children's care and education. The quality of childcare is taken care of by the school, creating prestige in the city's preschool system. Every year, the school attracts about 610 - 630 children, including 121 5-year-old children, contributing to reducing the burden on the public preschool system in enrollment work, while contributing to universalizing education for 5-year-old children in the city. In addition to the school's efforts, to better meet the educational mission, it is recommended that all levels support learning materials and support policies for teachers to encourage the non-public preschool system.

Teaching and learning facilities at Hoa Mi Private Kindergarten meet the needs of children's teaching and learning.

The principal of Hung Dung I Kindergarten requested that competent authorities pay attention to arranging enough teachers to ensure the quality of education.

Based on the opinions of the schools, the survey team recorded and recommended to the competent authorities to pay attention to solving the problem, contributing to improving the quality of preschool education in the city and meeting the learning needs of children.
