(Baonghean) - Starting a business with many difficulties and challenges when first entering the market, but with a passion for business, young man Hoang Van Tai, in Hung Dao commune (Hung Nguyen) soon affirmed his responsibility and success in introducing his hometown products to many places, creating jobs for many local workers.

Born into a poor farming family, his father passed away at the age of 5. Due to family difficulties, none of Hoang Van Tai's four siblings had a full education. At school age, he worked hard to earn money to support his family.

In 2006, he participated in labor export to the Russian Federation. After 8 years abroad, with many different jobs, he had the opportunity to learn and understand more about business. In a foreign country, he married Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang (Do Luong district). After saving a small amount of capital, he determined that he could not continue working for hire in a foreign country forever. With the desire to get rich in his homeland, before returning home, through research, he learned that in his wife's hometown of Do Luong, the production of traditional rice paper was quite developed. Therefore, in 2012, he decided to return to his hometown, invested 250 million VND, and installed a rice paper production machine in Do Luong.

In 2013, he built a facility and installed machines at his private house in Hamlet 3, Hung Dao Commune, Hung Nguyen District. Here, with favorable conditions of taking advantage of the labor force during the off-season, cheap rice prices and high quality, the facility soon went into stable operation. During the production process, affirming the brand is his top concern. To have quality and reputable products for consumers, his secret is to use raw materials that are entirely rice, with clean raw materials and ensuring food safety during the production process, the rice paper products made do not contain preservatives. The flexible and waterproof rice paper produced by Tai Hang (the name of his facility) has been chosen by many kiosks at wholesale markets due to its good quality, ensuring the health of consumers.

After a period of investing in production and connecting with consumers, Mr. Tai has recovered his capital and initially earned more profit. Realizing the development potential of this traditional rice paper in other provinces, he and two other friends who used to work in Russia decided to open a third facility in Luong Ninh, Quang Binh province in March 2015. Although newly opened, Nghe An rice paper products have initially been chosen and trusted by consumers in Quang Binh.

Up to now, on average, his facility produces about 30,000 rice paper sheets per day, regularly importing goods to more than 200 large and small agents in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Saigon... With 6 different types of products from rice paper, the "Tai Hang" brand has appeared on the market with product quality highly appreciated by agents. Thanks to that, the facility has created regular jobs for 10 workers, most of whom are union members and local women with an average income of 3 million VND/person/month. After paying for labor and raw materials, he earns a profit of 20 - 25 million VND/month. The average total annual revenue from rice paper production workshops is 800 - 900 million VND.

Although production and business work takes up most of his time, he still arranges to actively participate in local youth movements and activities, contributing to building a stronger grassroots Youth Union organization. He has just been awarded the Luong Dinh Cua Award by the Central Youth Union.

Sharing with us, Mr. Hoang Van Tai said: “To be successful, first of all, you need to have your own will and effort, and not falter before the initial difficulties and hardships. After achieving success, you must never be complacent or arrogant, but must constantly learn and seek out good ways of doing things, new development directions that are suitable to your own abilities and the practical conditions of the locality. My wish is that the Youth Union needs to have many practical programs to encourage and create movements to help each other develop the economy among union members and young people in rural areas, to awaken the youth, and to enrich themselves legitimately in their homeland”./.
