(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 21st, under the chairmanship of Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Steering Committee for the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement of the province held a working session to hear and give opinions on the preparation for the conference summarizing 15 years of implementing the movement and 20 years of implementing the campaign.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the progress and preparations for the Conference summarizing 15 years of implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement (2000-2015); 20 years of implementing the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas" campaign (1995-2015); 10 years of implementing Decision 308/2005/QD.TTg of the Prime Minister on civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals, and commending outstanding examples in the movement in the province.

By this time, almost all districts, cities, and towns have held summary meetings to evaluate the implementation of the movement over the past period, while also identifying shortcomings, drawing lessons learned, and proposing specific policies and solutions to further promote the movement in the future. Outstanding individuals and groups have been commended for their exemplary contributions during the implementation process.

In preparation for the Provincial-level Conference summarizing the movements, scheduled to take place on November 16, 2015 in Vinh City, pre-conference publicity work has already been implemented, including: developing a detailed script for the conference, creating a documentary film about 15 years of implementing the movement and 20 years of implementing the campaign; and producing an art photo collection about the movement for display at the conference... 168 exemplary individuals will be honored and awarded on this occasion.
After listening to the contributions of the Steering Committee members, concluding the meeting, Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh highly appreciated the coordination between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Fatherland Front in preparing for the conference. She recognized this conference as extremely important in building grassroots cultural life in recent times. Therefore, the propaganda and preparation work must be truly thorough, especially the selection of outstanding exemplary individuals to be commended and rewarded, ensuring they are truly excellent and have a widespread impact on the community; the reports and presentations at the conference must include exemplary units in building cultural life in the workplace. To ensure the conference's success, all members of the Steering Committee must work together, assigning specific tasks to each member to avoid overlapping responsibilities.
