Traffic police help lost man

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 9:30 p.m. on November 30, while the Traffic Police Team 1/5 (Nghe An Provincial Police) was patrolling and controlling traffic on National Highway 1A through Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District, they discovered a lost man and helped him.

According to Major Hoang Quang Vinh, Traffic Police Team 1/5, while the working group was on patrol, they arrived at Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu district, and saw Ms. Ho Thi Hong, a resident of Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu, leading a tired-looking man behind her, waving at the Team's car to ask the traffic police officers to help the man who was lost.

After being taken to station 1/5, the man gradually calmed down and said his name was Ta Quang Toan (born in 1957), residing in Group B1, Tan Lap ward, Thai Nguyen city, Thai Nguyen province.

Accordingly, at around 5:00 p.m. on November 30, after finishing a wedding and drinking at an acquaintance's house, Mr. Toan walked about 100 meters to ask people around for information about his former comrades, but no one knew. Then he walked along National Highway 1A to his acquaintance's house, but he could not remember the address or phone number. He walked to Quynh Thach commune, Quynh Luu, and was so hungry that he sat down on the side of the road, hoping for help.

After receiving the information, the traffic police took Mr. Toan to the station to rest, eat and drink and asked for information about his family and relatives.

Major Vinh added: “When checked, Mr. Toan did not have his ID card, phone, and only a few thousand in cash. He also did not remember the phone numbers of his wife, children, or relatives, nor the address of the wedding venue.”

After seeing that Mr. Toan did not return to the wedding for dinner, many people went out to look for him but could not find him. At 10:30 p.m., when they arrived at Quynh Thach commune to look for him, they learned that he had been taken to the station by traffic police officers.

Currently, Mr. Toan has been picked up by an acquaintance at the 1/5 Traffic Police Station in Hamlet 5, Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu District, and plans are to catch a bus for him to return home tomorrow.
