Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association and Saigon Railway Company organized a survey trip for rail tours through four central coastal provinces such as Binh Thuan, Nha Trang, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh.

Speaking to VnExpress, Mr. Tran Hung Viet, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, said that in foreign countries, many tourists travel from one region to another by train, because they can both travel and sightsee. This tour has been cherished by the Association for a long time to improve the quality of train products and services, serving the travel needs of the people.

"The Association is working with businesses and localities to calculate reasonable prices for train tickets, accommodation and sightseeing to ensure that rail tourism can compete with previous forms of tourism," said Mr. Viet. According to him, with the support of travel agencies and the railway industry, this tour will soon be designed and meet the needs of customers.

The tourist train cars have been upgraded from 64 seats to 44 seats to give tourists more space and easier movement. The toilets have also been renovated and cleaned.
