Dong Hop Commune (Quy Hop) received a certificate of merit from the Government.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 27, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dong Hop commune (Quy Hop) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition for the commune meeting New Rural standards.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Ho Lam - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office; leaders of Quy Hop district and many people of Dong Hop commune.

Over the past 4 years, the Dong Hop Commune New Rural Construction Management Board has organized the integration of programs and projects combined with resources mobilized from the people to build 12.4 km of inter-commune roads; 15.867 km of inter-village roads; 33.065 km of main roads in villages and 19.43 km of intra-field roads. In summary, during the 4 years of implementing the New Rural Construction program, the commune has mobilized a total capital of 144 billion VND; of which more than 75 billion VND was mobilized from the people and other sources. This is an effort of all cadres and people of the commune in participating in the national target program on new rural construction.

Representatives of the provincial and district leaders of Quy Hop attended the ceremony to receive the commune's New Rural Standard Certificate.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, many people, who have contributed their efforts to the new rural construction movement, attended the ceremony.

The whole commune has 6 companies and enterprises; 28 stone mining and processing establishments; 4 auto repair shops; nearly 70 vehicles of all kinds; 121 small-scale trading households...

Average income per capita is 24.3 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 6%; 15/15 hamlets have spacious cultural houses, playgrounds, and community activities; 13/15 hamlets have achieved the title of Cultural Village; 4/4 schools have achieved the title of cultural unit...

Awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to the people and cadres of Dong Hop commune for their outstanding achievements in work from 2010-2014, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 individuals of Dong Hop commune were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee. The People's Committee of Quy Hop district awarded 200 million VND to Dong Hop commune for meeting the new rural cultural standards and awarded certificates of merit to 5 individuals and 7 collectives with outstanding achievements in the new rural construction movement.
