Officially operating a pair of high-quality trains on the North-South route during Tet
This morning (January 26), the pair of high-quality passenger trains with the codes SE5/SE6 of Hanoi Railway Transport Company Limited was officially put into operation, meeting the maximum demand of passengers during the 2016 Lunar New Year.

With an investment value of about 80 billion VND, the train's carriages have interiors and equipment made of high-quality materials, reasonable design, spaciousness creating a comfortable feeling for passengers.
The blankets, sheets, pillows, and mattresses on the train have all been replaced with new ones. The seating compartments are airy and clean with necessary amenities such as audio-visual device chargers, televisions, and reading tables in the middle of the compartment.
In addition, the toilets are renovated to ensure that they do not discharge waste into the environment. Along the corridor, there are yellow lights to create a luxurious, classy look and are designed to be noise-free. On the train, there is a food car serving snacks and refreshments to passengers.

According to the leader of Hanoi Railway Transport Company, although it is a high-quality train, the ticket price of this train does not change compared to regular trains.
The price for a 4-person soft sleeper cabin from Hanoi to Saigon is 1.32 million VND/ticket. The cheapest seat price from Hanoi to Saigon is 548,000 VND/person. The above ticket price is the same as other trains on the North-South route.

On the launching day of the new train pair, Hanoi Railway Transport Company reduced ticket prices for passengers by 30% - 50% compared to trains currently running on the Hanoi - Saigon route.
Train SE5 departs from Hanoi station at 9:00 a.m. every day and arrives at Saigon station at 8:03 p.m. the next day. Train SE6 departs from Saigon station at 9:00 a.m. every day and arrives at Hanoi station at 8:03 p.m. the next day.
Trains pick up and drop off passengers at the following stations: Hanoi, Phu Ly, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Bim Son, Thanh Hoa, Cho Sy, Vinh, Yen Trung, Huong Pho, Dong Le, Dong Hoi, Dong Ha, Hue, Lang Co, Da Nang, Tam Ky, Nui Thanh, Quang Ngai, Bong Son, Dieu Tri, Tuy Hoa, Ninh Hoa, Nha Trang, Thap Cham, Binh Thuan, Long Khanh, Bien Hoa, Saigon.
