Special exhibition "Following the Party for life"
This morning (January 20), at the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site, Hanoi, the thematic exhibition “A Lifetime Following the Party” opened. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 12th National Congress of the Party.

The exhibition "A Lifetime Following the Party" was organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board, introducing to the public the lives and revolutionary careers of five former General Secretaries of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who were imprisoned by the French colonialists in Hoa Lo Prison, including Nguyen Van Cu, Truong Chinh, Le Duan, Nguyen Van Linh, and Do Muoi.
With nearly 200 images, documents, and artifacts, the exhibition introduces the biography, hometown, family, path to the revolution; the days in prison; the days continuing the revolutionary path; the period as the highest leader of the Party. The photos show viewers the steadfast, indomitable qualities of revolutionary soldiers in all circumstances.

The exhibition with 200 photos and artifacts gives the public the most general view of the life and revolutionary career of the former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Truong Minh Tien affirmed that the exhibition has partly given the public an overview of the life, career, and steadfast spirit of the revolution of the former General Secretaries. The lives of the former General Secretaries are shining examples of the noble qualities of communists. When they became General Secretaries of the Communist Party of Vietnam, they continued to make many contributions to the cause of fighting for independence, building and defending the country.
The thematic exhibition "Following the Party for Life" lasts until February 5.
