The knowledge in the book is selected and told in the form of a combination of writing, diagrams and drawings. In it, world history from ancient, medieval, modern to modern times is told through the main axis of the birth and development of civilizations.

The book recreates the ancient times, with four great civilizations: Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India. Through that, readers know how ancient people lived, produced and created writing, houses, and ramparts...The Middle Ages were recreated with the expedition of the Roman emperors, the exchange of East-West civilization. The strong development of culture, science - technology, and art of mankind around the world created the appearance of modern times. Typical examples are the Renaissance culture and scientific inventions.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vuong - lecturer of the History Department, Hanoi National University of Education, PhD student in History Education in Japan - commented on the illustrated World History: "The book series is like an attractive small path that brings students back to history... Students will feel that history is actually vast and useful for personal life, not just numbers and dates presented on the pages of a book."
