According to BGR, at the end of September, Google accidentally put the domain name Google.com up for sale. Sanmay Ved, the lucky person who bought this domain name for $12 (about 270,000 VND), later had to return the domain name after Google discovered its mistake and canceled his order.

Of course, both sides have kept secret the amount of money Google has to pay Ved, but recently the search giant revealed this number in an article on the company's official blog: 6006.13 USD (about 134 million VND). More notably, after Sanmay Ved announced that he would donate all of this money to charity, Google doubled the amount to 12,012.26 USD, or about 267 million VND.

This number was kept secret until today, when Google summarized its bug hunting program for its products in 2015.
