Face change process after botox injection
To improve his wrinkled forehead, Mathew Jedeikin (USA) decided to get botox injections and recorded his transformation process.
Matthew, who turned 30, was often worried about his forehead being too wrinkled. To hide it, he grew his hair long, wore headbands or hats, used anti-aging creams, and even cropped his forehead out of photos when posting on social media, he told BuzzFeed.
Realizing that the above methods were not very helpful, Mathew thought of Botox. At first, the young man hesitated because in his mind he only had images of cosmetic accidents caused by Botox on famous stars. Matthew did not want a face as stiff as wax so he decided to wait. Finally, after discussing with colleagues and reading documents about Botox, he discovered that one could absolutely use this method if many wrinkles appeared after the age of 24. Mathew immediately made an appointment with a cosmetic doctor.

During his lunch break, Matthew went to a clinic where a nurse explained the Botox injection process. What surprised him most was that the results would not be immediate. "She said I wouldn't see anything except a few injections in the first few days. It would take about two weeks for the Botox to really take effect," he shared, revealing that he was warned that injecting Botox in one area could lead to temporary wrinkles in another.
Before starting, the nurse marked Mathew's forehead. She wiped the area, numbed it with ice, and injected Botox. "It didn't hurt at all. I felt the injection, but it was just a little sting. The marks disappeared after 10 minutes," Mathew said. He went back to work without any changes.
After four days, Matthew noticed the wrinkles on his forehead were fading. After two weeks, his forehead had changed significantly, but the wrinkles had not completely disappeared. "I still see them. Reduced? Yes. Disappeared? No," Matthew confirmed.

He realized that the botox was temporary. His forehead was fine now, but in six months it would be back to normal. Also, the wrinkles between Mathew’s eyes were much deeper than they had been two weeks ago because of the botox.

Mathew concludes that the biggest lesson learned from this experience is that Botox injections are not magic. Anxiety and self-consciousness cannot be instantly eliminated after a visit to the cosmetic clinic. "I will always have some wrinkles on my face. In the future, I hope to learn to accept this," he confided.
