Open tour to Con Co island

Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Co island district (Quang Tri), said that in early April there will be a well-organized tour to take tourists to visit the island.

According to Mr. Tuan, previously the island district and Quang Tri Trading Corporation proactively surveyed, developed a cooperation plan, consulted with relevant agencies and have now received permission from the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee to open the tour.

It is expected that in the near future, there will be 2 trips per week to take tourists to the island by the island's official boat, then if all goes well, there will be one trip per day. The tour price is very "affordable" at about 10 million VND/30 people, tourists will experience the nature of the island and the products and services prepared by the islanders.

Con Co Island has rich tourism potential (area of ​​230 hectares, with beautiful and diverse forest and marine ecosystems...) but for a long time, bringing tourists to the island has not been implemented due to the lack of many necessary conditions such as means of transport, wharves, human resources and legal factors.
