Hung Temple Festival 2016: Displaying typical products of each region
Up to this point, preparations for the Hung Temple Festival 2016 have basically been completed. In particular, rich and diverse products imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the homeland have been prepared for display at the Festival.

Like every year, sour meat products continue to be selected by Thanh Son district to display at the Hung Temple Festival in 2016.
Sour meat with its attractive and delicious taste has become a favorite dish of many people. The product is no longer a specialty of the Muong people but has become a culinary dish of the entire Thanh Son district.
Ms. Pham Huyen Trang - Nghi Thinh Limited Liability Company (Thanh Son district), said that the typical products of Thanh Son sour meat are sour meat in bamboo tubes and sour meat in plastic tubes.
Both of these products are displayed at the Hung Temple Festival for visitors to enjoy and learn about these specialties, and also to promote the typical products of Thanh Son district to people across the country.
In addition to sour meat, Thanh Son district also selected tea products to promote during the festival. These products were selected by clubs from clean and safe tea production areas in Thanh Son district; then produced according to VietGap process, carefully packaged, product quality clearly inspected, origin stated...
Mr. Hoang Van Thang, Chairman of the Community Livelihood Club, Vo Mieu Commune, Thanh Son District, said that the members of the Club will collect the best products, ensure standards, then package them and attach the Club's brand to display at this year's Hung Kings' Commemoration Day.
This is also an opportunity for the typical products of the homeland to be known and recognized by people across the country, and in the long term will be exported to countries around the world.
In addition to items and products imbued with the cultural identity of the region such as bamboo-tube rice, fermented fish, honey from sweet potatoes, dried bamboo shoots, and yellow bananas, Viet Tri city also brings products such as yam cakes, sticky rice cakes symbolizing the sky, square glutinous rice cakes symbolizing the earth, to te cakes, gai cakes, peanut tet cakes, sticky rice cakes, pandan cakes, coconut cakes, sticky rice cakes, and it cakes... to display and introduce to visitors at the Hung Temple Historical Site.
This is one of the important highlights to promote and introduce to domestic and foreign tourists the products imbued with the cultural identity of Phu Tho province's ethnic groups, while opening up opportunities for Phu Tho province to strongly develop its tourism potential in the coming time./.
