Today, the 3rd consultative conference established a list of candidates for the National Assembly.

The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the 3rd consultative conference to select and make a list of candidates for the National Assembly.

Today (April 14), the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the 3rd consultative conference to select and establish a list of qualified candidates for the 14th National Assembly.

The 3rd consultative conference was organized by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to select and make a list of delegates from central agencies, organizations and units to be nominated as candidates for the National Assembly.

The third local consultative conference convened and chaired by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial level is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 49 of the Law on Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils.

2nd Consultative Conference

The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the consultative conference at the Central level; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the consultative conference at the provincial level, shall report on the situation and results of the organization of collecting opinions and trust from voters at the place of residence, place of work or place of work for candidates, in which it is necessary to clearly state cases where candidates do not gain the trust of voters and cases that need to be considered due to incidents raised by voters.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a consultative conference to report on the proposed list of candidates for National Assembly deputies to select and establish a list of qualified candidates for National Assembly deputies.

In case of failure to reach an agreement, the conference shall decide to vote by show of hands or secret ballot. If the conference decides to vote by secret ballot, a ballot counting team of 3-5 people shall be appointed. The ballot must bear the seal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the level organizing the consultation conference. Only delegates of the consultation component present at the conference shall have the right to vote.
