While traveling on Nguyen Binh Khiem street (Hai Phong), a luxury car lost control and crashed straight into a roadside flame tree, crushing the front of the car and breaking the tree in half.
| The accident occurred at 2 PM on April 27th on Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, opposite the entrance to a high school. A Lexus car with a Thai Binh license plate, traveling from Dinh Vu Port towards the Big C intersection, lost control and crashed head-on into a flamboyant tree by the roadside. |
| The powerful collision sent the car flying backward, sideways across the road, causing a traffic jam. The driver, a male, was determined by the police to have sustained minor injuries. |
| Immediately after the impact, the approximately 15-year-old flame tree, with a trunk diameter of nearly 40 cm, shook, swayed, and then broke in half. |
| The top of the tree fell onto the sidewalk. |
| The base of the plant lifted up, dislodging concrete slabs and paving stones from the sidewalk. |
| The accident caused minor traffic congestion, and traffic police and the Hai An District Police arrived a few minutes later to regulate traffic. |
