Con Cuong is a mountainous district blessed with many scenic spots, creating a charming beauty. This is also the cradle that preserves many unique cultural features of the Thai ethnic group.

The unique customs, folk songs, folk dances, traditional crafts, culinary culture, costumes, stilt house architecture, etc. of the local people have attracted the attention of a large number of tourists from inside and outside the province. It is estimated that the number of visitors to the district increases by an average of over 10% each year.

One of the first places to mention is Nua village (Yen Khe commune). Nua villagers have known how to take advantage of the strength of community tourism to connect and promote the village's weaving profession after a long period of stagnation.

It is known that Pu Mat National Park is implementing the project "Building a community tourism model on the Bong Khe - Yen Khe - Luc Da - Mon Son route in Con Cuong district" with the goal of preserving the cultural identity of ethnic communities while increasing income for local people.

Since the tourist groups came to visit, many tourists, when seeing the brocade weaving products of Nua village, were excited to try on the dress and wanted to be guided to weave a few lines themselves. At the same time, tourists also bought many products of the local people here such as skirts, scarves, handbags, etc. as gifts for relatives.

It is known that out of 152 households in Nua village, more than 60 households are still faithful to the profession. Since 2011, Ms. Lo Thi Hoa's family and Mr. Lo Dinh Nhuong's family are two accommodation places that have welcomed many domestic and international tourist groups when they visit Nua village.

Besides enjoying local dishes and folk songs, xoe dance, fan dance, lam vong dance of Thai people, visiting the weaving village is also an interesting experience for many people.

The next place that is attracting the attention of many people is Khe Ran village (Bong Khe commune). Currently, Khe Ran village has 162 households, all of whom are Thai ethnic people. The village still preserves nearly 150 stilt houses with high aesthetic and cultural value.

Since learning about community tourism, the locals have enthusiastically participated. The villagers themselves have established groups and associations to take charge of activities such as cooking, dancing, singing, etc.

This activity is not only valuable in terms of economy, community tourism has helped people understand and appreciate the cultural identities of their own community.
