Which Vietnamese university is in the top 150 universities in Asia?

Hanoi National University ranked 139th in the top 150 universities in Asia according to the assessment of the UK's education and study abroad company (QS).

The UK's education and study abroad company (QS) has just announced the results of university rankings by region including: QS Asia, QS Arab countries, QS countries with emerging economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), QS Latin America and QS EECA region (Central Eastern Europe and Central Asia).

QS - Quacquarelli Symonds is a British company specializing in world education research founded in 1990.

From 2004 to 2009, QS cooperated with Times Higher Education (THE) to annually publish the world university rankings and was also the database provider for the rankings.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi is ranked 1st in Vietnam in the QS Asia rankings, along with Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (2nd), Can Tho University (3rd), Hue University (4th) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (5th).

In terms of regional rankings, from 191st place in the top 200 universities in Asia (2015), this year, Hanoi National University has risen to 139th place in the top 150 universities in Asia.

Next is Ho Chi Minh City National University ranked 147th (2nd in Vietnam).

In 2016, Vietnam had 3 more universities participating in the QS Asia rankings, namely Can Tho University (top 300), Hue University (top 350) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (top 350).

In terms of rankings according to each ranking criterion, Hanoi National University is in the top 100 - at position 65 for academic reputation; top 200 for employer evaluation (position 169); top 100 for international exchange student ratio (position 62).

Previously, in the 2015 QS Asia rankings, Hanoi National University was in the 191-200 group./.
