Ho Chi Minh City opens tourist train route to the land of "Yellow Flowers"

With the new train route put into operation, tourists only need to sleep one night and the next morning will be in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen.

Train pair SNT6/SNT9 running from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen) was inaugurated by Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company on the evening of July 19. Not only does it create favorable conditions for tourists to come to the land of "yellow flowers and green grass", it is also a driving force for Phu Yen tourism to develop.

Trains depart daily at 9:25 PM from Saigon Station and 5:25 PM from Tuy Hoa Station. Travel time is approximately 12 - 15 hours.

The stations that pick up and drop off passengers include Saigon, Bien Hoa, Binh Thuan, Thap Cham, Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa, Tuy Hoa (SNT6 train also stops at Ca Na, Ninh Thuan). This train pair operates on the basis of the Saigon - Nha Trang train pair's route extending to Tuy Hoa.

One-way fares from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa range from VND253,000 to VND907,000, depending on seat type and departure date. Ticket prices are discounted by 10% on the occasion of the opening, from July 20 to 26 for passengers traveling from Tuy Hoa, Ninh Hoa, Nha Trang stations to Bien Hoa, Saigon stations.

Also from July 20, the SNT3 Nha Trang - Saigon train will temporarily stop operating.
