N'Golo Kante is about to join Chelsea

According to company sourcesSky SportsChelsea have agreed to the transfer fee offered by Leicester.

The Premier League champions are believed to have offered Kante a new contract before Euro 2016, but the France international midfielder has now confirmed he wants to join Chelsea..

Kante is likely to undergo a medical examination today, July 16, before joining his new team at a training camp in Austria. There he will negotiate personal terms.

Coach Claudio Ranieri confirmed that he wants Kante to stay but will not stop the 25-year-old star if he intends to leave. "I don't want to lose him. I don't want to lose him at all, but I also understand if he wants to leave," he said.

Kante was one of Leicester's best players last season, helping the club win the Premier League for the first time in their history. He only joined the small club last season, and made his debut for France in March this year. At the recent Euros, Kante and his teammates reached the final, but lost 0-1 to Portugal.
