Coming to Hua Hin art village, visitors feel like they are returning to the old days, where they can freely create and immerse themselves in a poetic space.

During the journey to celebrate Queen Sirikit's 84th birthday, our group had the opportunity to visit Hua Hin Artist Village, where works of art by artists from Hua Hin are exhibited, a district in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, northern Thailand, about 3 hours drive from Bangkok.

Entering the Artist Village, we were impressed by a space that evokes the spirit of freedom and liberation of thoughts through each painting. We had the opportunity to meet Tawee Kesa-ngam, the founder of Hua Hin Artist Village, and also the most famous painter in Thailand today. He and his wife wanted to create a space where each guest would be a true artist, returning to their free childhood and feeling like a child when the old days suddenly came flooding back.

Established in 1998, Artist Village is located near a hill west of Hua Hin, covering 1.6 hectares, initially only for local artists to share art space. Gradually, it became a popular destination. Tourists come to Hua Hin to buy original paintings or to create their own works of art. In fact, this is also the place where many artists live and work after exhibitions in Bangkok. Over time, Hua Hin Artist Village has gradually become a unique connection between talented artists in Thailand.

With a breath of free spirit, visitors can freely create without worrying about being judged. You can also watch artists diligently creating. They put their heart into their paintings, thereby expressing the feelings and thoughts hidden in their souls. Hua Hin Art Village is open every day except Monday, from 10 am to 5 pm. The peak tourist season in Hua Hin lasts from April to October because Hua Hin is also a coastal town, where it is quite wild but the nature is brilliant.

The trip to Hua Hin was part of an exploratory tour for 84 journalists, bloggers and photographers from around the world to experience the unique culture of the Golden Temple country. The trip was called "84 Views of Thailand".
