iPhone 7 may have built-in flash for taking selfies

Apple may for the first time integrate an LED flash next to the front camera to assist in selfie situations.

Documents purporting to be factory instructions for assembling the iPhone 7 have been leaked and posted on Nowhereelse. Most notable is the caption for the front of the device, detailing the code D12 as "Strobe and LED lens".This letter is similar when explaining the rear camera which is coded H12.

The appearance of the word LED in the camera caption makes experts believe that the iPhone 7 may be equipped with a flash on the front. The remaining details show that the iPhone 7 does not have many differences from the previous iPhone 6 and 6s.

Last year, instead of using a real flash, Apple introduced a feature that automatically flashes the screen when users take selfies to create a beam of light on people's faces. However, this method is only effective when taking close-up photos and the maximum number of people in the frame is about 3.

The iPhone 7 will be available for pre-order on September 9. The new iPhone launch will take place a few days before the pre-order opening.Previously, many sources confirmed that Apple will remove the physical Home button right from the iPhone 7 version (or maybe the iPhone 6SE). A set of electromagnets will be placed under the touch Home button and will vibrate slightly when pressed. In addition, the device will also remove the headphone jack, providing a converter from the lightning port to the 3.5mm jack. The iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual camera, one of which has a 12 megapixel image sensor with optical zoom.
